SYVCA encourages all of our students to get involved is opportunities in which they can serve others, whether it’s in our local community and/or world=wide organizations.

Operation Christmas Child (pictured above), is an event in which each Christmas season students and their families pack and wrap gift boxes for hurting children worldwide 2-14 years old. This program is organized through Samaritans Purse.

Atterdag Village, Friendship House, and Solvang Senior Center are some of the local organizations where students visit, give hand-made cards, gifts or crafts during holidays or other special occasions.
